Sippy Downs, Meet Your New Go-To for Asian Eats!
A NEW Asian Eatery serving your favourite Asian dishes, from Massaman Beef Cheeks to Karaage Chicken, is set to open in Sippy Downs this March!
Oh Monk Asian comes from the team behind local favourite Dee Den, bringing ‘Asian eats done differently’ to the south Sunny Coast.
Oh Monk promises to keeps it easy, tasty, and fun. Asian flavours, no fancy frills. Oh Monk aims to keeps it bold, casual, and all about the good stuff.
This marks the second venue for Oh Monk, continuing its mission to shake up Asian fusion in a fresh, new space.
On the menu, you can expect the usual suspects: Pad Thai or Red Curry with Roasted Duck, but don’t think them as your average ‘Thai’ spot.
With fresh additions like their Smoked Salmon Salad, Crispy Coral Trout in a housemade chilli sauce, Lemongrass Honey Chicken, the lineup is anything but ordinary.
Those who are coeliacs will be glad to know that even their deep-fried goodies are COMPLETELY gluten-free, and cooked using a completely separate fryer.
Plus, plenty of rad meat-free options for the vegan & veggie pals.
Oh Monk’s kitchen is led by Chef Batt—Michelin-trained, Brisbane-honed, and all about bold, flavour-packed bites (by his own admission).
They’re expected to open in late March 2025.
