Sunny Coast Coffee Spots for Coffee Snobs

It’s how most people start their days off; nothing makes you feel quite as alive as a good cup of coffee does. It’s a vital part of our morning routine, and a strong indicator of how our day is going to go. If a bad coffee is enough to ruin your day, don’t fret – we’ve got the rundown of best places to get your fix. Say bye bye to dull tasting coffee.

Slide Coffee Roasters | Coolum Beach + Caloundra

Slide is staple coffee spot on the Sunny Coast, with their delicious blends available around various cafes. This place takes their coffee seriously, with a tasting room dedicated to their single origins and specialty blends. Open seven days a week, 6am to 12pm (Coolum Beach Open five days a week, 6am to 12pm)

Kenilworth Bakery | Mooloolaba + Kenilworth

We could write a little blurb trying to convince you that the coffee is a must-try, or we can simply say: Coffee Donut. That’s right, Kenilworth Bakery delivers a sweet twist, by giving you the option to sip their coffee from a doughnut. If you’re a coffee lover who loves a chocolatey taste, you can’t say no to this. Open seven days a week, Mooloolaba: 8am to 3pm, Kenilworth: 7am to 1pm.

Padre Coffee | Noosa

If you’re a self-proclaimed coffee snob, Padre Coffee is the place for you.  Originating in Melbourne, this sleek coffee shop definitely radiates that Metropolitan vibe. You can sip on their delicious coffee, try a range of single origins or speciality blends and see the roasting in action for yourself. Open six days a week, 7am to 2pm.

The Birds and The Beans | Buderim

It’s time we had the talk about The Birds and The Beans. Don’t worry, this one won’t be as embarrassing as the one with your parents, guardian or awkward health teacher - but rather filled with fantastic coffee. Set in an old-fashioned garage, they now serve human fuel instead of petrol.  You can sit back and relax in the cosy atmosphere with a fine cup of coffee. Open six days a week, 6am to 12pm.

Criminal Coffee Co. | Maroochydore

If you’re in need for some liquid gold, you’re in luck. Criminal Coffee Co. has your supply of caffeine needs, roasted in house. Their coffees are killer (maybe that’s why their criminal), especially paired with their flavoursome toasties. Open 7 days a week, 6am to 2pm (closing 12.30pm on Sundays)
